Weather

The weather in Geoje has been pretty nice overall.  It has been low 80s-mid/high 70s every day so far.  It rained a couple of days for a few hours, but one day it was crazy rain! I swear the rain was coming in sideways, and at times, it seemed like it was coming up from the ground.  It was tough rain, lightning, thunder, and wind. Crazy! LOVED IT!! Aside from that event, though, it was pretty nice.  It cools off to the mid-60s at night, and you can still walk around in shorts and a T-shirt because of the humidity. It is not cold…yet.  Speaking of moisture, it’s a killer in the daytime when it is hot and humid.  Having to walk to school, I am sweating by the time I get there.  Now, I wear an undershirt while walking, put my dress shirt on when I get there and have cooled down a bit.  I know it is a backward strategy to wear the undershirt when it’s hot, but it works.  One more thing about the weather or air, it seems really clean.  Being an island close to the water, nothing hangs around too much and blows past.  That’s nice.  I hope that is when the yellow dust comes in the spring.
